CDC Antibiotic Awareness Week: Nov 18-24, 2024
ADSP celebrated CDC Antibiotic Awareness Week! The purpose of this week is to increase awareness of antibiotic resistance and the importance of careful antibiotic use. Antibiotics can save lives, but any time antibiotics are used, they can cause side effects and contribute to the development of antimicrobial resistance. See the infographic to the right for more impacts of antibiotic resistance. Always Remember: Prescribe the right antibiotic, at the right dose, for the right duration, and at the right time.
